In the service industry, there is a staggering amount of potential revenue that is lost due to “no-shows” and inadequate booking systems. Our client, having been directly affected by these real-life scenarios, realised that there is a need for a convenient and easy to use platform that facilitates the booking process for clients and businesses, reducing “no-shows” and making bookings easy.
Onebook decided to build a mobile app for customers where they can self-book their appointments, and a backend platform where businesses can manage their bookings. Unlike conventional receptionists or a combination of systems, this one product provides booking management, exposure for businesses, and a one-stop-shop for customers looking to make their appointments. This product is much faster, cheaper, and way more convenient for customers and businesses alike.
Together with the client, we created a mobile app for clients with total convenience in mind. The app, among many other features, allows clients to easily make bookings, explore all service providers, view opening hours and service providers calendars, and be made aware of the costs involved. On the other hand, the intricate CMS platform we developed for business users consists of several helpful tools such as managing bookings, crafting reports, viewing customer ratings, and allows for seamless navigation in a customisable way. The CMS also includes a B2B payment gateway. Over and above, this product creates a marketplace for customers and businesses to engage, allowing businesses to be more efficient in their marketing efforts and discoverability.
